Driving instructions to get to Selvatica from Cancun
If you are in Cancun (Downtown or in the Cancun hotel zone) follow these instructions. Please take the highway to Playa del Carmen. That means you will go south toward Puerto Morelos and Playa del Carmen. If you are in doubt take the road to the airport. Then just on past the airport exit toward Playa del Carmen and Puerto Morelos.
Just as you get to Puerto Morelos please take the right hand lane (sort of an access road.) The new overpass construction will be on your left. Continue until you pass the PEMEX gas station, you'll pass two speed bumps and 500 meters (1/4 mile) ahead you will find a "Selvatica" sign. Take the curve to the right at the Selvatica sign; from this point you have to drive for 19 kilometers (12 miles) down the paved road and then follow the signs on the right into the Selvatica park. (Note: If you go to where the paved road turns into a dirt road you have gone too far.) Parking in the Selvatica Park will be indicated and parking spaces will be small niches for one car carved out of the jungle.
Driving instructions to get to Selvatica from Playa del Carmen
If you are in the Playa del Carmen please take the highway to Cancun or towards the Cancun airport. That means you will take a right on the main highway and go North. When you get to Puerto Morelos please continue North past the overpass construction which will be on your left. Make a U turn past the overpass construction and get in the (far right lane) heading back towards the Playa del Carmen. The side road will be next to the PEMEX gas station.
After the PEMEX gas station, you will pass two speed bumps and 500 meters (1/4 mile) ahead you will find a rustic "Selvatica" sign. Take the curve to the right at the Selvatica sign; from this point you have to drive for 19 kilometers (12 miles) down the paved road and then follow the signs on the right into the Selvatica park. If you are in the Riviera Maya between Cancun and Puerto Morelos please follow these instructions. Take the highway towards Playa del Carmen. That means you will go South toward Puerto Morelos and Playa del Carmen from your location.

If you are in the Riviera Maya south of Puerto Morelos (includes – Mayan Palace, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Aventuras, Akumal, south to Tulum) Please take the highway towards Cancun. That means you will take a right on the main highway and go North.
